Hoshi is an SSH and Mosh terminal client for iOS. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data Hoshi handles and how.

Data We Collect

Hoshi does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. We have no analytics, no tracking, and no telemetry.

Data Stored on Your Device

Hoshi stores the following data locally on your device to function:

Server configurations — hostnames, ports, usernames, and display names you enter when adding a server.
Authentication credentials — passwords and SSH keys are stored in the iOS Keychain, which is encrypted and protected by your device passcode.
App preferences — theme, font size, toolbar layout, and other settings.

This data never leaves your device. It is not sent to us or any third party.

Network Connections

Hoshi connects only to the SSH and Mosh servers you configure. All connections are encrypted by the SSH or Mosh protocol. Hoshi does not connect to any other servers, APIs, or services.

Third-Party Services

Hoshi does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

Hoshi is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
